Job Description:
This is a senior hands-on Chief Technology Officer role suited to a founder-minded technology leader who thrives in high-growth fast-paced environments. You will take full ownership of the architecture design and delivery of two core product verticals driving end-to-end execution from concept through to scale. Working closely with leadership across product commercial and operations you will play a key role in shaping the companys technical direction while ensuring delivery excellence and commercial impact.
Your daily adventures include:
Product & Architecture
- Define and drive the technical vision across core product platforms
- Lead end-to-end architecture with a strong user-centric approach
- Translate business and market needs into scalable modular solutions
- Ensure alignment between product technology and commercial outcomes
- Drive high-quality UX-led product design across platforms
- Own full lifecycle delivery from build to scale
- Drive speed quality and efficiency across engineering teams
- Ensure high system reliability scalability and performance
- Oversee integrations with partners payment schemes and third parties
- Maintain strong engineering standards with minimal post-launch issues
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams
- Improve development velocity through automation and reuse
- Scale platforms without proportional increases in headcount
- Identify and implement efficiencies across systems and processes
- Drive innovation through continuous product and platform improvements
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across product sales and operations
- Foster a high-performance ownership-driven engineering culture
- Balance hands-on technical involvement with strategic leadership
- Engage with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Support business growth through technology enablement
Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
- 812 years in software engineering fintech or payments
- Proven experience building and scaling platforms (0 1 and beyond)
- Strong background in high-growth or startup environments
- Experience in payments card issuing or transaction-heavy systems preferred
- Track record delivering complex multi-market solutions
- Cloud-native architecture (preferably Azure)
- Microservices and scalable system design
- Real-time transaction processing systems
- AI/ML integration into products or engineering workflows
- Experience with payment scheme integrations advantageous
