Job Summary

Parliamentary Service is recruiting four senior leaders to strengthen delivery and consistency across our digital group. Together these roles ensure Parliament is supported by reliable secure and wellgoverned digital services as we prepare for the demands of an election year.

Mō te tūnga About the role:

In this senior leadership role youll guide multidisciplinary teams shape product strategy and work closely with senior stakeholders across Parliamentary Service and the Office of the Clerk. Youll balance innovation with reliability - ensuring digital solutions are customercentred sustainable and aligned to organisational priorities.

Youll provide clear direction for Digital Solutions aligning priorities with organisational strategy and customer needs. As a leader of leaders you empower teams to deliver and improve - while remaining accountable for outcomes. Youll be tasked with:

  • Setting direction and priorities for Digital Solutions aligned to organisational goals.
  • Leading and developing highperforming leaders and teams.
  • Ensuring strong delivery governance planning and visibility of work.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Parliament.
  • Contributing to shared leadership decisionmaking and culture across IT.

Tō kete What you bring to the role:

Youre an experienced digital leader who is comfortable owning decisions and outcomes in complex environments. You bring sound judgement strong people leadership and the ability to balance customer needs risk and organisational priorities.

  • Experience leading crossfunctional digital or product teams in complex organisations.
  • Strong people leadership capability including coaching and delegation.
  • Experience establishing delivery and product governance.
  • Strong influencing and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Ability to obtain NZSIS Confidential security clearance.

This role is based on the Parliamentary precinct. Being present on site is an important part of building relationships supporting teams and working effectively in the Parliamentary environment and regular inoffice presence is therefore expected.
