Job Summary

Job Overview

Responsible for end-to-end cashiering operations including monitoring bank receipts and posting funds accurately to client and office account in compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Ensures adherence to AML data protection and internal control requirements while supporting audits and regulatory reviews. Delivers high-quality outcomes through effective validation tracker monitoring and resolution of queries. Drives continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency accuracy and control without compromising statutory or firm policy requirements.

Who you will work with

Work with local office teams credit controllers billers to effectively apply the receipt for the respective office.

What you will be responsible for

 Cashiering Management

  • Recording of receipts against invoices on matters and projects.
  • Understanding of SRA/OPR guidelines and controls.
  • Understanding of office money and client money.
  • Awareness of Anti-money laundering policies and Breach policies.
  • Validation of reports for ensuring completion and correctness.
  • Regular monitoring of relevant trackers.
  • Quality Delivery and adherence to standard process.
  • Comply with Turnaround time and Accuracy as per SLA.
  • Handling client/ cross teams queries.
  • Supporting role during audits.
  • Understand the control environment we are operating in and recommend further controls.

What you will do

  • Monitoring the payments coming into the firms bank account.
  • Ensuring compliance with the detailed requirements of the Solicitors Account Rules (SAR).
  • Ensuring Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance data security / data protection.
  • Ensuring the timely posting of receipts in system adhering with the rules and policies.
  • Ensure to validate that all postings are done accurately in correct Client ledgers.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end process ensuring quality and process adherence.
  • Process improvements to maximize efficiency without jeopardizing financial control or compliance with Clifford Chance policy and Statutory requirements.
  • Understand business and strategies for the process meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Ensuring compliance with rules and Internal Audit recommendations.

Cashiering Management

Qualifications :

Your career experience so far

  • Graduate/ Post Graduate with 3 years of relevant experience in O2C
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good written oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter energetic and good team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word Visio Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Open to deliver additional efforts as and when needed.
  • Strong Internal Customer Focus and team building skills.
  • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meeting timelines.
  • Highly motivated and creative bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Positive attitude and dedication.
  • Comfortable working in a team as well as on your own.

Location - Gurgaon

Work pattern - Monday to Friday US or UK Shift 

Reports to -  Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager
