Role Overview
As a Full-Time Database Engineer (DBE) you will play a vital role in delivering maintaining and optimizing the Brevium product on customer systems. Responsibilities include:
Installing and upgrading Brevium software on customer production servers
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to database performance or integration
Collaborating with IT personnel to gain remote access and conduct server-based work
Customizing installations to align with varying EPM environments
Coordinating closely with the Customer Support team for case management and scheduling
Working with the Development team to identify and resolve software bugs
Assisting with transitions when customers migrate to new EPMs including data stitching between systems
Youll manage multiple active cases ensuring progress and maintaining communication with clients IT teams and internal stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate strong foundational knowledge in databases and a proactive solution-oriented mindset. Specifically:
Bachelors degree (or near completion) in Information Technology Computer Science or related field
Solid understanding of relational database concepts and t-SQL syntax
Hands-on experience from coursework or projects involving SQL Server
Aptitude for troubleshooting data flow issues and forming/test hypotheses
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Note: Though not a programming role familiarity with data structures and logic is essential for effective troubleshooting.
