Key Position Functions
- Assist Production and Operations in processing and maintaining the production order system and all office related functions.
- Creation and maintenance of manufacturing production orders and files.
- Maintenance of manufacturing employee training files.
- Investigate and correct production heat sheet discrepancies.
- Replenish and maintain inventory of office supplies and consumables.
- Support the Production teams 5S by being a part of the audit team.
- Verify and review production heat sheets ensuring that all heat numbers listed matched the parts used.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP would be an asset.
- Closing of production orders including matching with office folder and amalgamation of critical documents.
- Processing maintenance receiving and completion of farm-out purchase orders.
- Assist in the preparation of customer related document packages.
- Material issue on production orders as required.
- Verify and maintain daily production order bookings.
- Contact outside vendors for the maintenance of office equipment.
- Assist with other manufacturing and operations clerical functions.
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- Three to five years of experience in an administor role.
- Experience in a manufacturing or oil and gas environment preferred.
- Education: Related post secondary education is an asset.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency are a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge. Strong Excel skills.
