About the role:

The Postgraduate Fellow will develop advanced competence in High Resolution Anoscopy for the evaluation and management of anal dysplasia and related conditions focusing on populations at increased risk (e.g. people with HIV MSM transgender and gender diverse people immunosuppressed patients and those with prior lower genital tract dysplasia). The Fellow will deliver high-quality patientcentred care contribute to service development and support research education and quality improvement within St Vincents Health Network Sydney (SVHNS).

Selection Criteria:

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincents Health Australia.

  • Primary medical qualification and current AHPRA registration

  • Completion of basic physician/surgical training or equivalent postgraduate year

  • Demonstrated interest/experience in sexual health HIV medicine colorectal disease or related fields.

  • Procedural aptitude and manual dexterity; ability to perform DARE simple anoscopy and minor procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to trauma-informed inclusive care.

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage time and competing priorities.

  • Commitment to maintaining ongoing professional development and compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team contributing to coordinated care planning shared decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Proven capacity to build positive professional relationships and support an inclusive respectful team culture
