Task Responsibilities:
Main task responsabilities include but are not limited to:
Statutory Compliance
Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders and/or local corporate service providers for all corporate legal filings in Asia & Pacific including changes to corporate details annual filings and statutory updates.
Provide required information documentation and approvals to ensure all Asia & Pacific stations remain in good standing with local registration authorities.
Liaise with the Legal Department for powers of attorney renewals and modifications as required.
Contract Management
Serve as the primary legal contact for Asia & Pacific and support them on all local legal matters ensuring alignment with global legal strategy and local requirements.
Review commercial contracts amendments and supporting documents for Asia & Pacific.
Office Administration
Initiate and renew all administrative agreement membership and insurance policies in time according to the company policies.
Monitor the service level and reliability of the suppliers and vendors which providing goods or services in complying the compliance & company policies.
Handle the renewal process of different business-related licenses with different governmental departments for ensuring our business legitimation in the station.
Management of External Counsels
Act as primary point of contact for Asia & Pacific external lawyers coordinating communication between them and business stakeholders.
Oversee the quality scope and cost of external legal services including review and approval of legal invoices ensuring compliance with agreed rates and actual work performed.
Litigation & Claims Management
Maintain an updated list of Asia & Pacific open litigation matters monitor deadlines and hearing dates and coordinate internal attendance or witness needs.
Approve required expenses for attorneys including travel when necessary.
Regulatory Monitoring & Legal Research
Monitor applicable industry specific and general regulations across Asia & Pacific including aviation employment/labor corporate customs data protection and other relevant legal domains.
Conduct legal research on a broad range of topics to support business decisions and operational needs.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Bachelors degree or above in Law or related field
- Minimum 1to 3 years experience in legal or administrative support
- Strong skills in contract review and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good command in both written and spoken English Mandarin Chinese is a must
- Japanese or Korean are considered as an advantage
- High professionalism discretion and reliability
Working Conditions:
- Full time & permanent contract.
- Reporting to the Director Legal Services based in Luxembourg.
