- Assesses nutritional needs of patients by reviewing medical records and conducting interviews.
- Develops and implements nutrition care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Monitors and evaluates patient progress adjusting nutrition care plans as needed.
- Provides nutrition education to patients and their families.
- Maintains accurate and complete patient records.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Education Requirement:
Associates Degree in Nutrition from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) approved program required.
Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:
Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) or Registration Eligible with completion of exam within 3 months of hire required.
Skills:
- Highly proficient technical skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in various organizational systems.
Experience:
- Experience as a dietetic technician preferred.
- Clinical pediatric experience preferred.
