Job Summary
description:
Provides comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents identified with special needs and/or those who meet nutritional risk criteria. Provides nutritional care which includes patient assessment and reassessment patient and family education interdisciplinary communication nutritional plan of care development and documentation of all interventions in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards. Acts as a competent clinician who provides clinical care in a skilled and effective manner utilizing appropriate technical and decision-making skills.

Day Shift - Schedule: Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley (AHTV) Mon Wed Fri and Adventist Health Bakersfield (AHBD) on Tues/ThursEducation and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent: RequiredMasters Degree: Required only if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24Experience as a Clinical Dietitian: PreferredDietetic internship or its equivalent: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Dietitian (RD) within 6 months of completion of residency program: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
