Job Summary

Be responsible for cleaning of assigned school space
Provide floor care daily to include sweeping vacuuming mopping spray buffing scrubbing
Keep housekeeping closets clean and supplied with cleaning materials
Know the opening and closing procedures of the campus
Replace light bulbs ceiling and other building supplies
Participate in team activities and special projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school graduate preferred

Physical abilities

Be able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds twenty feet
Ability to stand for at least one hour

Working Environment

Needs to be able to talk and interact with administrators school staff and students in a manner that is a positive reflection of the goals of the school
Retirement is through the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) of Texas and not Social Security (TRS requires five years of participation before any retirement funds are vested. )
