- Be responsible for cleaning of assigned school space
- Provide floor care daily to include sweeping vacuuming mopping spray buffing scrubbing
- Keep housekeeping closets clean and supplied with cleaning materials
- Know the opening and closing procedures of the campus
- Replace light bulbs ceiling and other building supplies
- Participate in team activities and special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school graduate preferred
Physical abilities
- Be able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds twenty feet
- Ability to stand for at least one hour
Working Environment
- Needs to be able to talk and interact with administrators school staff and students in a manner that is a positive reflection of the goals of the school
- Retirement is through the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) of Texas and not Social Security (TRS requires five years of participation before any retirement funds are vested. )
