SCOPE OF WORK: This position is responsible for the coordination and development of the Training for Residential Energy Professionals (TREC) grant program. This position is under the direct supervision of the Workforce Development Manager and will be functionally supervised by the Energy Training Manager both at Lakes Region Community College (LRCC).
This 25 hour a week grant-funded position is expected to end December 2029 subject to grant funding. Work Site: In-person at LRCC to start with the option to work some hours remotely in accordance with LRCCs remote work policy.

Provides program development coordination administration and support for the TREC program which is aimed at non-credit adult learners participating in non-credit residential energy efficiency home electrification and heat pump training in support of the State of New Hampshire-administered Home Energy Rebates;
Along with the TREC implementation team establishes and maintains contacts with energy efficiency heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) electrical and appliance vendor businesses and their employees to recruit students into non-credit TREC training programs;
Provides onboarding and retention services to adult learners enrolled in TREC trainings. Services may include: assistance with course registration coordination of tuition incentives career advancement assistance and other student services in conjunction with other LRCC offices and partnering Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) colleges;
Coordinates training schedules training locations instructors training materials and supplies tools and props instructional technology (IT) online instructional resources under the direction of TREC program leads;
Maintains contacts with implementers of the Home Energy Rebates program and other residential energy efficiency programs as well as other relevant workforce development business industry and community partners;
Assists with marketing programs to recruit students into the TREC program and communication campaigns to the public about the benefits of TREC and related programs;
Assists in communications among the TREC implementation team including project management updates.
Provides data collection compilation and report writing assistance for reporting of required grant metrics;
Provides support in the implementation of instructional contracts purchases from vendors and other financial duties as assigned;
Complies with all college system state and federal rules and regulations; and
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university.
Experience: Two (2) years program administration teaching/training admissions academic or career advising recruitment course development or a related area with responsibilities in program implementation direct service delivery planning or program evaluation.
Education: Associates degree from a recognized college or university.
Experience: Four (4) years program administration teaching/training admissions academic or career advising recruitment course development or a related area with responsibilities in program implementation direct service delivery planning or program evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree. Experience coordinating or administering professional training programs and/or adult learners. Knowledge of project management and/or customer relationship management (CRM) programs. Familiarity with residential energy efficiency and/or HVAC fields.
Required License/Certification: Valid drivers license or access to transportation.

Must be willing to maintain an appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college appointing authority.
