Scopely is looking for a smart technically strong and process-adaptive QA Lead to join our GSN Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.

What Youll Do

• Own end-to-end quality strategy for your cluster ensuring high confidence releases and strong player experience across all pods
• Build lead and scale a high-performing QA team including hiring mentoring and driving performance excellence
• Demonstrate excellence in team management task management and cross-pod coordination ensuring optimal planning prioritization and execution across multiple workstreams
• Define and drive test strategy coverage and risk-based validation approaches across features content and technical initiatives
• Champion a shift-left approach actively contributing during design and early development phases to identify risks gaps and quality concerns
• Approach validation with a product and player-first mindset evaluating features not just from a QA perspective but from an end-user and business impact standpoint
• Partner closely with Product Engineering Design and Art to influence quality decisions ensuring alignment with player expectations and business goals
• Establish maintain and analyze quality metrics and reports (defect leakage coverage cycle time live issues) ensuring data is tracked effectively and used to drive continuous improvement
• Own release quality and risk assessment providing clear recommendations and participating in Go/No-Go decisions
• Drive automation and efficiency initiatives including leveraging modern tools and exploring AI-driven approaches to improve scalability and effectiveness
• Manage and collaborate with external QA partners ensuring clear expectations high-quality output and effective utilization
• Maintain strong visibility across stakeholders by proactively communicating progress risks and blockers

What Were Looking For

• 5 years in QA with 3 years in leadership roles ideally in mobile gaming or live-service environments
• Proven excellence in team leadership mentoring and upskilling with a strong focus on developing talent and building future leaders
• Strong capability in team management task prioritization and cross-functional collaboration across pods or clusters
• Ability to balance leadership with hands-on contribution actively participating in testing debugging and critical validations
• Ability to think beyond QA execution with a product-oriented and player-centric mindset
• Experience defining and leveraging metrics dashboards and reporting to track quality and drive decisions
• Strong understanding of modern QA practices including risk-based testing shift-left methodologies and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated mindset of aligning with industry standards and proactively upskilling to stay current with evolving QA practices
• Experience working with external/offshore QA teams
• Exposure to automation frameworks and AI-driven testing approaches is a strong plus
• Strong gaming mindset with an understanding of player behavior and engagement mechanics; prior experience in Slots or casino-style games is a significant advantage
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Deep familiarity with tools like JIRA test management systems and automation frameworks
