This role is central torethinking and rebuilding our auto repossession and remarketing platform a system that directly influences how vehicles are recovered processed and remarketed across Canadas automotive ecosystem. This is anAI-first engineering rolenot in name but in evaluate where AI (including LLMs and agentic tools) can meaningfully improveengineering velocity system quality and operational efficiency while applying strong judgment about where it shouldnotbe used.
Youllhelp shape architecture influence technical direction and own what you buildfrom design to production. The impact is real the scale is national and the responsibility is genuine.
WhatYoull Do:
Build & Evolve Critical Systems
- Rethink and reshape core workflows based on a deep understanding ofauto repossession and remarketing processes.
- Design and implement scalable resilient systemsusing modern architectural principles: clear service boundaries modularity and observability.
- Incorporate LLMs and AI-driven componentsto improve data validation document processing and operational decision-making.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic coding toolsto accelerate developmentwhilemaintaininghigh standardsfor correctness security and maintainability.
Own Architecture & Technical Decisions
- Drive architectural discussions and decisions balancingpragmatism with technical excellence.
- Set and enforce high quality barsfor new services and modules with a focus on testability performance and reliability.
- Identify and reduce technical debt in ways that measurably improve developer velocity and system robustness.
Build With an Ownership Mindset
- Work across thefull software lifecycle: design build deployoperate and iterate.

Collaborate & Lead
- Work closely with product managers designers and other engineers in an agile cross-functional team.

The base salary range for this position is CAD $140000 CAD $190000.
This range reflects the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills experience location and market conditions. Based on the role the total rewards package may also include benefits bonus and other employee offerings.
