Role Overview:
We are seeking a Process Engineer with 5 years of experience in the oil & gas / petrochemical sector to support the design and execution of combustion and environmental systems particularly within the Flares and Incinerators division. The role involves process design technical evaluation and cross-functional coordination with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review client specifications and develop techno-commercial process solutions.
- Perform process calculations simulations and equipment sizing for flares incinerators and related systems.
- Prepare and review Turnover Packages for project execution teams.
- Evaluate sub-vendor technical offers and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct process optimization combustion calculations and emissions analysis.
- Support design reviews and release for fabrication.
- Assist project and service teams in troubleshooting commissioning support and site activities.
- Participate in client discussions and technical clarifications.
- Execute engineering studies for revamps retrofits and new installations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within oil & gas petrochemical or refinery projects
- Hands-on experience in:
- Process design and simulation
- Combustion systems / flare systems (preferred)
- Equipment sizing and PFD/P&ID interpretation
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety practices
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to balance technical accuracy with commercial considerations
- Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS or equivalent)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven with a strong focus on quality and delivery
