We are seeking a Network Test Engineer specializing in Wide Area Networking (WAN) to join our Infrastructure Engineering this role you wont just be testing networks-you will build the sophisticated automation frameworks and tooling required to validate high-performance network infrastructures.

Your mission is to ensure WAN reliability by simulating real-world conditions-latency jitter and packet loss-through sophisticated Go and Python automation.

Key Responsibilities

WAN Simulation & Testing: Develop automated test beds to simulate global site-to-site connectivity focusing on SD-WAN MPLS and Internet VPN topologies.
Traffic Engineering Validation: Build tools in Go to validate path selection failover convergence times and QoS (Quality of Service) policies across the WAN.
Automated Impairment Testing: Write Python scripts to programmatically inject latency jitter and blackouts into the test environment to verify network resilience.
Protocol Deep-Dives: Validate and troubleshoot WAN-specific protocols including BGP (EBGP/IBGP) IPSec Segment Routing and LDP
Performance Benchmarking: Use Go-based tools to measure throughput and end-to-end latency across geographically dispersed nodes.
