Job Title: Warehouse Worker I
Supervisor: Manager of Purchasing and Receiving
Classification: Classified
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Days: 260
Summary: Operates a delivery vehicle to pick up and deliver inter-District and intra-District mail school supplies equipment and other materials for all District buildings and related agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs some or all of the following tasks and additional duties as assigned.
- Operates and maintains a delivery vehicle making regular deliveries to schools and offices.
- Works in the warehouse packing and unpacking inventory sorting mail and delivering to various locations.
- Loads and unloads supplies and equipment.
- Picks up and transports supplies furniture specialized technical equipment books projectors mail school funds etc. as required.
- Maintains records of pick-ups deliveries inventories etc.
- Operates warehouse equipment as necessary (i.e. forklift pallet jack etc.)
- Attends work regularly
Marginal Duties and Responsibilities:
Transports supplies/materials and arranges as necessary for district functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: General knowledge of computer usage and ability to use e-mail.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to interact appropriately with students vendors teachers and staff.
Certificates Licenses Registrations: Certificates determined by the District including valid Oregon drivers license forklift operators certification blood borne pathogen training and blood spill training.
