Job Summary

Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extensions)
Schedule: Monday Friday 5:00 AM 1:30 PM (Day Shift)
Pay Range: $22 to $26/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Expeditor to support supply chain and procurement operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves monitoring material flow coordinating shipments and ensuring timely delivery of goods while working closely with vendors internal teams and logistics providers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in order management procurement processes and SAP systems along with strong coordination and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Expediting
- Monitor the flow and shipment of materials to ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Track order status and proactively follow up on delays.
- Ensure supplies materials and equipment are shipped on required dates.
- Support procurement and order management processes using SAP or similar systems.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with vendors suppliers department heads and shipping partners via phone email or in person.
- Verify shipment timelines and confirm delivery schedules.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Logistics & Transportation
- Coordinate with transportation providers to prevent transit delays.
- Place tracers on delayed shipments and ensure resolution.
- Assist in coordinating material distribution upon arrival.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate shipment records order updates and communication logs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement and operational processes.
- Provide regular updates on shipment status and risks.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Hybrid work style: 50% shop floor / 50% office (cubicle environment).
- Manufacturing environment with safety protocols in place.
- Safety-sensitive role.
PPE Requirements
- Provided by Site: Hard hat safety glasses ear plugs.
- Provided by Worker: Steel-toe or composite safety shoes.
Interview Process

Required Qualifications
- 1 3 years of experience in supply chain logistics procurement or expediting.
