About the Role

As Cover Supervisor you will deliver pre-planned work during teacher absence ensuring pupils remain focused behaviour is managed consistently and learning continues smoothly.

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 following set work and lesson instructions

• Establishing a calm purposeful classroom environment using the schools routines

• Managing behaviour consistently and escalating concerns appropriately

• Supporting pupils to engage with tasks and maintain good work standards

• Liaising with teaching staff and pastoral teams to share relevant information

• Supporting whole-school systems such as detentions duty or intervention sessions where required
