Role Overview:
As Finance Officer you will manage day-to-day financial operations including monitoring budgets processing invoices and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with the school leadership and administrative teams to ensure financial procedures are followed and reporting deadlines are met. Your work will support the schools overall mission by enabling efficient and transparent financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders invoices and payments in line with school financial policies.
Monitor budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with payroll expenses and reconciliation processes.
Prepare financial reports for senior leadership and governance committees.
Maintain compliance with statutory regulations including auditing and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with colleagues to streamline administrative and financial processes.
Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in finance accounting or school finance administration.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills able to liaise effectively with staff suppliers and external agencies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Understanding of school financial regulations and statutory compliance is desirable.
