A creative and dedicated Art Teacher is required at an Outstanding secondary school in Warwick to join its successful Art department from September. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and technical development
Supporting pupils in developing skills across a range of media including drawing painting and mixed media
Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback to support development
Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations and coursework requirements
Maintaining an organised and inspiring classroom environment
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
Supporting extracurricular activities such as art clubs competitions and exhibitions
Promoting high standards of behaviour and engagement within the classroom
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge and practical skills in Art
Demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Possess excellent classroom management skills
Be able to motivate and inspire pupils of varying abilities
Work collaboratively as part of a department and wider school team
