Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Team Lead US Payroll to lead and manage end-to-end US payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in US payroll processes compliance and team management along with the ability to handle high-volume payroll activities within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee end-to-end US payroll processing across multiple states.
- Ensure compliance with US payroll laws tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Lead mentor and manage a medium to large payroll team.
- Handle payroll reconciliations audits and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with US clients and internal stakeholders for smooth payroll operations.
- Manage high-volume payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and handle escalations effectively.
- Continuously improve payroll processes and ensure operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - 8 years of hands-on experience in US Payroll operations.
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of US payroll laws taxation and compliance.
- Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workday Paychex or similar.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven approach.
Additional Requirements: - Willingness to work in full India night shift (US time zone).
- Strong client-facing communication skills are mandatory.
