Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Copier Technician responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of photocopiers and related office equipment ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime for clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Install configure and commission photocopiers printers and multifunction devices at client sites.
Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of copier and printing equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal machine performance.
Respond to service calls and provide timely technical support to clients.
Replace defective parts and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
Maintain accurate service records job reports and parts usage logs.
Provide basic user training and support to clients on equipment operation.
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all service activities.
Liaise with suppliers and technical support teams when required.
Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery.

Key Skills:

Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of photocopiers printers and multifunction devices.
Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic networking knowledge (an added advantage).
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Qualifications:

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering IT or related field.
Minimum of 2 5 years experience in servicing copiers/printers or similar equipment.
Proven experience in field service environments.
