Litigation Associate Position

About the Role:

An established and growing law practice is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while playing an integral part in case strategy client advocacy and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated legal professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality legal representation. You will manage cases from inception through trial preparation while working closely with clients colleagues and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage litigation matters from initial case assessment through discovery and trial preparation.
Oversee the day-to-day and strategic aspects of case management to ensure cases progress efficiently.
Attend and participate in depositions settlement conferences and court hearings.
Draft and prepare motions discovery responses and client reports.
Support trial preparation including legal strategy development discovery review records analysis client interviews and witness preparation.
Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure cases are handled with precision and strong legal analysis.

Qualifications:

4 years of litigation experience required.
Experience with bankruptcy and creditors rights matters is preferred.
Proven experience taking and defending depositions.
Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present legal arguments and advice.
