SUMMARY
Kenowa Hills Public Schools is seeking dedicated and collaborative educators to support our K4 Summer School Program. This program is designed to provide targeted academic support and enrichment for students based on identified needs with a focus on building confidence and strengthening foundational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality instruction over 16 days of summer programming
- Deliver targeted small-group instruction aligned to student needs in math and ELA
- Utilize instructional technology to support engagement and differentiation
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate student progress with families
- Collaborate with summer school staff to ensure a cohesive program experience
- Complete required planning program evaluation and state reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Michigan elementary teaching certificate required
- Knowledge of elementary math and ELA curriculum
- Positive solution-oriented mindset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
