Position: E-Commerce Head – India Role
Summary We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented E-Commerce Head – India to lead and scale our online business across marketplaces and D2C channels. The role will own the complete P&L drive revenue growth optimize profitability and strengthen brand presence across India’s digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & P&L Ownership • Own end-to-end e-commerce P&L for India • Drive revenue growth margins and market share • Deliver budgeted targets and profitability
2. Marketplace Management • Lead key platforms: Amazon Flipkart Jiomart etc. • Manage assortment pricing promotions and visibility • Drive Joint Business Plans (JBP) with marketplace partners
3. D2C & Digital Growth • Scale D2C website performance and conversions • Improve customer journey retention and loyalty programs • Identify new growth channels (quick commerce social commerce)
4. Performance Marketing • Lead digital marketing: SEO SEM paid ads and social media • Optimize ROAS CAC and customer acquisition • Drive data-led campaign strategies
5. Operations & Customer Experience • Ensure seamless order fulfillment and high OTIF (>98%) • Minimize returns cancellations and stockouts • Improve NPS CSAT and repeat purchase rates
6. Team Leadership • Build and lead high-performing e-commerce and digital teams • Collaborate with Sales Supply Chain Finance IT and Marketing Key KPIs • Revenue growth & P&L achievement • ROAS / Marketing ROI • Conversion rate & traffic growth • Marketplace share & SKU expansion • Customer satisfaction (NPS CSAT)
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
• 10–15 years in e-commerce • Strong experience in Indian marketplaces & D2C • Proven track record in scaling online revenue Key Skills • P&L management & commercial acumen • Marketplace & digital marketing expertise • Data-driven decision making • Leadership & team management • Strategic thinking with execution focus Reporting • Reports to: Managing Director • Leads: Marketplace D2C Digital Marketing & Content Teams
