Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN contract opportunity in Flagstaff AZ. The RN will provide direct patient care ensure patient safety and support overall clinical operations. This role requires strong clinical judgment attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and document medical histories accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations safety standards and infection control protocols
- Support team collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact license preferred)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical or hospital nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
