Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week travel assignment in Mattoon IL.
Contract Details
- Days 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM 10; 40 Hour Guarantee //OR will designate (1) late person per shift to stay late IF a case is running late
- Start Date: 4/13/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Location: Mattoon IL
- Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
- Nonbillable Hours: 16 hours
Operating Room Nurses are responsible for performing at a competent level nursing practice and according to the standards of practice for the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Functions to maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members according to principles of patient focused care and customer service.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately and comply with facility policies and protocols
- Maintain patient safety infection prevention and regulatory compliance
- Performs all aspects of the position in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 Years of Circulating experience is required
- Proficient in Ortho - specifically total joints hip fx arthroscopy ORIFs and shoulder scopes and replacements is required
- Proficient with the following: General Neuro Vascular Gyn and Urology is required
- Active American Heart Association BLS is required
- Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
- Active RN license (compact or state as required)
- Strong communication professionalism and reliability
Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
