Description

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations in critical care settings
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Educate patients and families about care plans and critical health issues
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to care discussions
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) license
- Experience in critical care settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in critical care
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Schedule: 7a-7p
22-bed pediatric cardiac ICU
Patient Census: 11-12 per shift
Will cover all stat-level patients
Must have pediatric cardiac ICU experience
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
