Job Title: Shipping & Inventory Coordinator

Duration: Initial term with up to 12 months extension
Work Hours: MondayFriday 8:15 AM 4:30 PM (36.25 hours/week)
Role Overview
This role requires a physically fit and detail-oriented individual to perform a combination of warehouse operations and administrative duties. The candidate will be responsible for shipping/receiving inventory control and operating material handling equipment (including reach trucks) in a secure and controlled warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick pack and ship orders within 2448 hours while maintaining high accuracy
- Perform shipping receiving and inventory reconciliation
- Conduct cyclic inventory counts and maintain stock accuracy
- Operate reach truck and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain and update shipping databases (e.g. Shipping Manager MOVES)
- Record shipment details including waybill numbers parcel counts and serialized ranges
- Receive stock verify quantities and process documentation within 24 hours
- Ensure proper stock organization replenishment and FIFO rotation
- Handle departmental mail distribution
- Respond to client inquiries via phone email or in person
- Follow OHS safety standards and participate in safety inspections/committees
- Perform general warehouse duties including lifting (up to 35 lbs) bending and standing for extended periods
Mandatory Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must own and wear CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear
- Ability to type 35 WPM (assessment required)
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License (MVID required)
- Minimum 1 year of Reach Truck experience (mandatory; counterbalance not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of shipping & inventory control experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Valid Reach Truck certification
- Experience with supply chain software (e.g. JD Edwards MS Dynamics GP)
- Experience with inventory systems and waybill platforms (e.g. Loomis Purolator)
- Experience with data entry and data processing (2 years)
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks shrink wrapper strapper etc.)
- Experience handling controlled/serialized inventory (e.g. high-value goods)
- Knowledge of OHS standards and workplace safety protocols
