As a Room Reservations Coordinator you will be a key member of the hotels Room Reservations Team. Beyond taking bookings you will manage room inventory coordinate with guests support internal teams and help deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Competitive Salary: $55000 - $57000 gross annually based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include:
- Support day-to-day operations across Tour Group and Leisure reservations including bookings billing and package management.
- Maintain hotel inventory manage rate codes promotions and group/tour contracts and address oversell situations.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office Global Reservations Fairmont Gold Concierge Resort Activities F&B and Sales teams.
- Monitor reservations inboxes manage guest and internal correspondence and handle escalations or reservation-related concerns.
- Audit group contracts maintain system accuracy and support team development through training guides SOP updates and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- 18-month commitment to the role
- Previous reservations or hotel operations experience is an asset
- Proficiency in Opera PMS (Cloud and CRS); knowledge of Passkey/GroupMax is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and passion for hotel operations
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving analytical organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Professional presentation and ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
