Job Summary:
KBR is seeking an Engineering Operations Manager to join the team. The position will support Electronic Security Systems Design and Installation for the United States Marshal Service (USMS) projects. The Engineering Operations Manager leads an assigned segment of the Engineering organization driving operational execution resource optimization and strategic alignment. This role provides leadership across engineering teams supports business development efforts and ensures highquality delivery for customers while advancing company growth objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering operations to meet strategic operational and performance goals.
- Direct develop and mentor engineering leaders and staff.
- Support business development and proposal efforts through technical input and resource planning.
- Evaluate and prioritize opportunities to optimize utilization of engineering resources.
- Identify market trends emerging technologies and best practices; communicate insights across the organization.
- Establish operational objectives monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective execution and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 1012 years of relevant industry experience including engineering leadership or management.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams or operations.
- Strong leadership communication and decisionmaking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Engineering Business or related field.
- Experience supporting business development or capture efforts.
- Background in regulated technical or governmentfocused environments.
- Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
