Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Associate in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a government location where you will help monitor entry points screen visitors and property and support daily operations with strong communication and professional this role you will help identify security-related concerns provide courteous service and contribute to a caring reliable team that values integrity agility and innovation.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Screen employees visitors and/or personal property entering the location in accordance with established access and screening protocols.
- Respond to incidents prohibited item findings and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor entry points and assist with access control activities to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter as assigned while remaining aware that working conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
