Job Title: Lab Associate
Location: Mason Ohio 45040
Duration: 12 months
Shift: Standard shift
Payrate : $19/hr - $22/hr
Responsible to perform routine usually basic laboratory testing and maintenance of laboratory equipment/systems; to review data vs. specifications and perform lab investigations as needed; and to perform basic troubleshooting of analytical methods and equipment. Leads the team of lab analysts in their day-to-day work. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for learning all of the duties of a regular analyst with added responsibilities such as: Set shiftly direction for the team Coordinate work schedule and resolve issues on shift Ensures coverage for shift meets business needs Ensures issues communicated between teams at shift change Understands Manufacturing Standards system as it relates to Lab testing. May also maintain computer system records manage the hardware and equipment used in the laboratory and write reports and summaries
Job Description:
This person must have prior experience in batch making across several product forms. This requires a deep understanding of raw material chemistry and process transformation. This person will also be required to maintain raw material inventory for making products. Stability tracking and product monitoring over time is required to measure the robustness of each batch and optimize the formulas. Other physical property measurements are required to dimension the expected in-use behavior of the products. It is critical this person have prior experience given the complexity of working across multiple product forms.

- Able to be onsite
- Willing to work in lab setting
- Prior contracting experience
- Maintain Lab notebook and logs of experimental procedures. Reporting results via Microsoft Word Excel and Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).
- Perform routine analytical methods such as
- Lab Support coordinate the maintenance/calibration of lab equipment and supplies with required QA tracking
- Timely completion of work
- Get things done
- Ask for Clarity on task details
- Execute with minimal instructions
