Core Functions - Manage a portfolio of active accounts along with leads and prospects within the assigned territory and surrounding regions.
- Drive sales through a consultative needs-based approach with both existing and prospective clients.
- Present product and market insights to customers assisting them in selecting solutions aligned with their requirements.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders including R&D Purchasing and senior leadership through regular engagement.
Key Responsibilities - Establish develop and maintain strong business relationships aligned with the organizations product portfolio.
- Research and evaluate prospective clients to assess business potential.
- Prepare clear and effective proposals and quotations for clients.
- Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as product management marketing accounting logistics and quality.
- Analyze competitive positioning and communicate product advantages.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute territory strategies focused on maximizing ROI.
- Provide regular updates on customer feedback market trends and competitive activity.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product applications industry trends and market conditions.
- Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events.
- Travel as required to support business development and client relationships.
- Accurately document all sales activities within CRM/ERP systems.
Requirements & Qualifications - Bachelors degree required.
- 3 5 years of experience in B2B sales preferably within industries such as nutraceuticals food & beverage or dietary supplements.
- Proven experience in managing accounts generating leads and closing business with manufacturing clients.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
