Job Summary
Qualifications
Valid unencumbered New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Minimum of 46 years of related clinical experience including direct patient care. Demonstrates knowledge of clinical skills instruction and competencybased assessment in nursing or health professions education. Strong interpersonal organizational and written/verbal communication skills. Proficiency in internet use computer literacy and Microsoft applications including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty staff and students. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching in an academic nursing or healthprofession program. Previous work in skillslab operations simulation or clinical education. Experience with accreditation standards relevant to nursing and PA education (e.g. AACN ACEN INACSL ).
