Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedDirector of Project Developmentto leadwater andwastewaterengineering projectsfor municipal and industrial clients. This role combinesbusiness developmentproject management andengineering leadershipto deliver innovative solutions fortreatment plantspumping stationspipelines and related infrastructure. This is a client facing/business development strategic role for someone with Texas water market experience with project leadership and local market relationships. This position requires someone local to Texas experienced within the municipal water construction market.
Responsibilities
- Leadproposal development pricing strategies and client negotiations forRFQsandRFPs
- Overseeproject planningdesignpermitting andconstruction support
- Developprocurement strategiesproject schedules andcost estimates
- Manage client relationships and pursuerepeat business opportunities
- Provide leadership and mentorship toengineering and project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors degreeinCivil EngineeringEnvironmental Engineering orMechanical Engineering
- 10-15 yearsof experience in theTexasmunicipal water/wastewaterengineeringandconstruction market.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensepreferred
- Proven success inproject managementproposal writing andpublic presentations
- Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills
