- Office based in Parramatta; other established work locations deemed suitable across NSW may be considered subject to office space availability (flexible working supported)
- Salary relative to experience ranging from $ 99938 to $ 110271 superannuation& annual leave loading
We are seeking an Assistant Records Officer to join the Governance and Risk team and support the delivery of an efficient professional and customer focused records and information management service across the Department.
About the role
As an Assistant Records Officer you will provide day-to-day support for the Departments records and information system (Open Text Content Manager) assist staff with records related enquiries and contribute to effective digital and physical recordkeeping practices.
You will support Content Manager system administration manage service requests and tickets assist with digitisation activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the records function. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow and develop in the records management space using content services technology.
About you
You are a reliable and detail focused professional with experience in records management systems administration preferably with Content Manager. You understand the importance of compliance accuracy and service delivery in a government environment and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in records management systems administration
- A good working knowledge of the State Records Act and records management obligations including lifecycle management of records
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive collaborative approach and a commitment to high-quality outcomes
Desirable
- Experience using Content Manager (CM25) or a similar electronic document and records management system
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in information/records management or other relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in records management
