DESCRIPTION:
Thermo Fisher LPG Operations IT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to strengthen our supply chain planning technology capabilities. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels at translating business needs into scalable system solutions driving end-to-end implementation and enabling measurable improvements across supply chain operations in a global environment.
Assess business processes and system capabilities identify functional gaps and translate requirements into clear solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
Lead the design and delivery of system enhancements and integrations with a strong emphasis on data analytics closed-loop planning execution and Kinaxis Maestro solution expertise.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Supply Chain IT Data ERP and Operations) to ensure on-time high-quality project outcomes.
Provide functional leadership and hands-on guidance to project teams throughout analysis build test deployment and hypercare phases.
Drive user enablement and adoption by creating training materials conducting knowledge transfer and supporting change management.
Own day-to-day application support issue triage root cause analysis and continuous enhancements to improve stability and performance.
Champion continuous improvement optimizing planning workflows automation reporting and system usability.
Evaluate emerging capabilities and recommend new features and innovations to improve planning accuracy responsiveness and decision-making.
5 years of hands-on experience with Kinaxis Maestro including closed-loop implementation and advanced data analytics.
Minimum 2 Kinaxis Maestro project implementations with demonstrable delivery ownership.
10 years of supply chain management experience or related domain expertise (planning procurement manufacturing distribution).
Proven expertise integrating Kinaxis Maestro with SAP ECC and non-SAP applications (upstream/downstream systems).
Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across functions and levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear business-friendly way.
Strong analytical thinking structured problem solving and data-driven decision-making capability.
Proficiency in data analysis and ERP integration concepts (interfaces master data transactional data reconciliation).
Experience in workbook authoring automation scheduling and development of reports dashboards scorecards and KPIs within Kinaxis Maestro.
Kinaxis Level 2 Author Certification (preferred/required as applicable).
Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Information Systems or a related discipline.
Post-graduate certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP (or equivalent) are a strong plus.
Working knowledge of relational databases and query writing (e.g. SQL fundamentals).
Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and best practices in IT operations.
Experience with Agile tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA for backlog incident and delivery management.
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent initiatives.
Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset across global stakeholders.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management or another relevant field.
