Energy Management serves as the hub for energy efficiency and emissions reduction throughout NYC government operations supporting our agency partners and progress towards the Citys major emissions reduction and energy objectives. The Energy Management team concentrates their efforts in six areas: the Citys energy supply clean energy generation demand response & load management energy efficient operations & maintenance energy efficiency retrofit projects and energy training & innovation.

The Assistant Program Coordinator will sit within DEMs Operations Unit API Team reporting to the API Deputy Director and working in close coordination with the Cultural Sector which partners with New York Citys cultural institutions and public library systems to advance their emissions reduction goals. The Assistant Program Coordinator will be charged with responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

- Data Management: Oversee their sector teams data management activities; regularly communicate with agency partners to collect reconcile and update project data; develop and recommend additional performance indicators.
- Project Tracking: Support the sector teams response to agency requests and ensure internal timelines/project tasks are completed.
- Data Reporting: Conduct weekly monthly and quarterly reporting activities as needed.
- Agency Engagement: Take a consultative approach to agency relationships and commitment to first class customer service.
- Intra-Division Coordination: Provide overall support to the unit and division.

Qualifications :

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited CUNY college in a major related to the work in which the fellow will be trained and perform in the particular position.
