Our client a leading Energy organization seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:
Head of Business Development
The position of Head of Business Development will report to Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for driving sales and business development activities of the renewable Company.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the entire sales process from creating demand through originating solutions sales and closing profitable opportunities for the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating sales opportunities preparing tenders and negotiating contracts including onshore and offshore wind solar and battery storage projects and other renewables.
- Define project scope budget estimation execution strategies deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders and management.
- Refine strategies for the development of renewable energy projects in Solar Onshore and Offshore Wind Battery Energy Storage and other renewables.
- Establish relationships with potential project partners like OEMs EPC contractors government and regulatory parties.
- Responsible for proposals delivery requirements documentations and completion of legal documents with project stakeholders.
- Advise on deals structures; develop end to end process to effectively and efficiently close deals.
- Responsible for staying abreast on industry trends publications and reports that provide in-depth analysis data and forecasts for renewable energy sector.
- Create strong market presence and increase awareness of Companys renewables.
Education
- Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Business Administration Engineering Marketing or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 5 - 7 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.
Requirements
- Experience in renewable industry.
- Proven track record of business development experience.
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
- High level of critical and logical thinking analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles reasons or facts.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and proactively.
- Excellent organizational strategic planning and implementing skills.
- Ability to travel as per requirement.
Age
- The candidate should preferably be not more than 45 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
