Job Description
Skylight Codeworks is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Intern with 6 months to 1 year of prior experience in business development sales or a related field. This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to real projects and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment. You will work alongside our Business Development team to expand the companys reach generate leads and build strong client relationships.

Eligibility Criteria:
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have 6 months to 1 year of experience in business development sales or a related field.
- Have a background in: Business Administration Marketing Sales or a similar program
- Are confident in conducting research outreach and communication with clients.
- Have a proactive approach and willingness to learn new strategies in business development.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Help develop and maintain a leads database and customer relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging business trends and target demographics.
- Support the BD team in creating sales presentations proposals and contracts.
- Participate in direct outreach efforts (email phone social media) to establish new business relationships.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Attend meetings with potential clients and provide necessary follow-up and documentation.
- Help track and report progress on business development goals and metrics.
Skills We Expect:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in business development or sales.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce HubSpot etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- A results-driven attitude with a passion for meeting targets.
- Ability to analyze market data and create reports.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams.
