UIUX Design Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity UI mockups across web and mobile platforms.
• Translate requirements into clean consistent user interfaces aligned with the design system.
• Apply design tokens and variables to maintain visual consistency across components.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and real users.
• Participate actively in design critiques sharing work and incorporating constructive feedback.
• Support the team in day-to-day design tasks and contribute to ongoing projects.

Requirements:
Must-Have

• Bachelors degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science Interaction Design HCI or an equivalent field.
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience in UI/UX design through internships freelance work or personal projects.
• A basic portfolio showcasing design thinking visual skills and an eye for usability and aesthetics student or personal projects are welcome.
• Basic understanding of design systems variables and tokens and how they contribute to consistent scalable design.
• Familiarity with AI design tools and an understanding of how to apply them practically in a design workflow.
• Proficiency in Figma or an equivalent design tool.
• Open to feedback eager to grow and willing to learn from every critique and collaboration.

Good to Have

• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Webflow Framer WordPress) for design and development.
• A design certification from recognised programmes such as Google UX Design Interaction Design Foundation or similar.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML CSS) an appreciation for how design translates to code is a plus.
