Senior Accountant
Location: Seattle WA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $101000 $107000
We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Seattle area to hire a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting close processes and operational analysis. This role offers strong exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams with an emphasis on accuracy analysis and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Support the monthly close process including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting packages
Analyze financial results including month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter variances
Partner with operational leaders to review performance answer questions and provide insight into results
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure completeness of financial data
Assist with audit support and preparation of required documentation
Contribute to process improvements and help enhance accounting workflows
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
25 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Public accounting or advisory experience preferred
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Proficient in Excel and general accounting systems
