  • Temporary full-time role up to 24 months 35 hrs/week
  • Office based in Parramatta; other established work locations deemed suitable across NSW may be considered subject to office space availability (flexible working supported)
  • Salary relative to experience ranging from $ 113574 to $ 125720 superannuation& annual leave loading

We are seeking a Records Officer to join the Governance and Risk team and support the delivery of an efficient professional and customerfocused records and information management service across the Department.

About the role

As a Records Officer you will support the administration and continuous improvement of electronic document and records management systems (Open Text Content Manager) including the upgrade to CM25 to enable effective digital recordkeeping across the Department. You will manage and resolve records and system enquiries and customer tickets support system changes and upgrades and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure information is managed in accordance with legislative and business requirements. The role works in conjunction with an external vendor providing backend system support and the broader Information and Records Management (IRM) team. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow and develop in the records management space using content services technology.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in systems and records administration including maintenance migrations integrations upgrades and fault rectification within an electronic document and records management system such as CM25 or similar
  • Demonstrated knowledge of emerging records and information management issues practices and technologies.
  • Demonstrated sound working knowledge of the State Records Act and its practical application.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in information/records management or other relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in records management
