We arelooking for: RehabilitationVeterinaryTechnician
Proposed Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30a-6p
The Rehabilitationdepartmentfocuses on helping our patients becomemobile utilizing physical therapy water therapy cold lasertherapyand more. This team is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a patient for extended amounts of time as well as partnering with our clients on continued education to help their pet get better.
Whatyoulldo:
- Prioritize caseload and patient care prepare and review charts forappropriate paperwork as well asensureaccuratedocumentation
- Restrainandassistwith examinationsandtherapies
- Prepare prescriptions harnessesand neededinformation for clients
- Discuss therapiesandrecommendationsas well asaddress client questions and concerns
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication services patienttransfersandconsults
- Performand/orassistwith patient therapies using multiple modalities including underwater treadmill laser therapy chiropractic adjustments ultrasound Assisiloopandland therapies
Who you are:
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred
- Prior veterinary experiencepreviousrehabilitationexperience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
