Position: Senior Media Buyer & Creative Strategist (DTC/E-commerce Background)

Location: Remote (South Africa / LatAm / Philippines )

Work Schedule: 9am-5pm EST

Salary: $3500-$4500 (depending on experience)

Position Overview

CLIENT is looking for a versatile Media Buyer & Creative Strategist (DTC/E-commerce Background) to own both the performance and creative direction of paid advertising campaigns. This hybrid role blends data-driven media buying with creative concept development ensuring campaigns are not only strategically targeted but also compelling and high-converting. The ideal candidate is analytical creative and comfortable managing both campaign execution and creative ideation.

Key Responsibilities

Media Buying

  • Plan launch and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta TikTok Google and YouTube.
  • Conduct audience research build targeting strategies and forecast budgets and expected outcomes.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to improve ROAS CPA CTR and other key performance metrics.
  • Implement A/B tests for audiences creatives landing pages and bidding strategies.
  • Set up and manage tracking (pixels events UTMs) to ensure accurate attribution.
  • Generate performance reports and provide actionable insights to the team or stakeholders.

Creative Strategy

  • Develop creative angles hooks scripts and messaging frameworks for ads and short-form content.
  • Analyze platform trends audience behavior and competitor ads to create data-backed creative concepts.
  • Produce creative briefs storyboards and direction for designers editors and content creators.
  • Collaborate with the media buying side to align creative outputs with performance learnings.
  • Review creative performance and identify winning patterns to influence iteration and future content.
  • Maintain brand consistency while pushing creative experimentation and testing.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Related Field
  • 6 years of proven experience in both media buying and creative strategy ideally in a performance-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with major ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager TikTok Ads Manager Google Ads etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear strategy decisions.
  • Ability to craft compelling ad concepts hooks and scripts.
  • Solid understanding of direct-response marketing consumer psychology and emerging content trends.
  • Experience working with creative teams or creators to bring ideas to life.
  • Strong communication organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced experiment-heavy environment.
