Job Summary

Kendal at Oberlins Dining Services teamcurrently has an opening for a part- time (20 hrs/wk: 5:00p-10:00p) Kitchen Utility/Floor Maintenance Aide. The Utility/Floor Maintenance Aide will perform the jobs of dish washing cleaning and receiving and floor maintenance. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
To perform the jobs of dish washing pot and pan washing cleaning and receiving checking and storing of deliveries in the Dining Services department.
- Operating dish machines.
- Washing pots and pans.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen counters and floors.
- Sweeping mopping and special cleaning jobs to ensure the departments sanitation.
- Cleaning and storing of deliveries in the Dining Services department.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Candidates must be able to read write and understand English;
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance;
- Some experience in food services highly desirable;
Must be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds. Stands and walks all day.
- Appearance must be clean and neat.
