- Develop manage andmaintainenvironmental programs permits reports and records including ISO 14001zero landfill and sustainability initiatives.
- Implement and monitor environmental compliance programs (air wastewater stormwater emissions hazardous waste) and conduct related training audits and regulatory research.
- Oversee recycling programs address plant environmental questions and ensure continuous compliance with federal state and local requirements.
- Support plant safety programs through incident investigations audits inspections training and OSHA reporting/log maintenance.
- Assist with industrial hygiene monitoring support related projects represent the company externally and perform other duties as assigned.
- 5-7 years related experience
- Bachelor degree (or related experience)
- Non-degree considered if 12 years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Must have valid driving privileges
- Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%)
- A Bachelor degree including chemistry knowledge or adequate experience in environmental and/or safety.
- Regulatory background is desired along with knowledge of environmental regulations and computer skills.
- Experience in process operations in a commercial or manufacturing environment relating to environmental management air emissions wastewater treatment and hazardous waste disposal are necessary for this position.
- Industrial Hygiene experience is desirable.
