Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AEM Forms Backend Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and backend Java development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing adaptive forms integrating backend services and ensuring high performance and scalability of AEM-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain AEM Forms (Adaptive Forms) solutions
- Develop and integrate Form Data Models (FDM) with backend systems
- Build and manage AEM backend components using Java
- Develop Servlets OSGi services and Apache Sling models
- Work with JCR (Java Content Repository) / CRX for content management
- Create and consume web services / APIs
- Optimize performance of adaptive forms (e.g. lazy loading)
- Ensure reusability using fragments and modular form structures
- Participate in code reviews testing and ensure code quality using JUnit
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC lifecycle
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in AEM Backend Development (MANDATORY)
- Proficiency in Java Servlets OSGi (Felix) and Apache Sling
- Hands-on experience with Adaptive Forms and Form Data Model (FDM)
- Experience with JCR/CRX repositories
- Knowledge of Maven for build management
- Experience in Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- Familiarity with JUnit code quality and best practices
Good to Have:
- Experience in performance tuning of AEM applications
- Exposure to enterprise-level AEM implementations
