Job Summary

Job Title: Junior Test Automation Engineer

Experience:3-5 yrs exp
Location: Pune
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Test Automation Engineer to support automated and manual testing activities for automotive tools and systems. The ideal candidate should have basic scripting skills familiarity with test frameworks and a willingness to learn BMW-specific processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in test automation development and maintenance for automotive applications.
Work with BMW DBN (Database Network) systems
Develop and maintain Python scripts for automated test cases.
Support REST API test maintenance and validation.
Maintain and update QF-Test scripts (optional but preferred).
Perform manual business testing as required.
Document and manage test cases using Jira Xray.
Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Working exp of Python scripting for automation.
Understanding of REST API testing concepts.
Familiarity with test management tools like Jira Xray.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform manual testing and follow structured test plans.
Good communication and willingness to learn BMW-specific tools and processes.
